Plan ahead: Making Strides Against Breast Cancer special event; bridge inspection on medical campus this weekend

Please be advised that one special event and an annual bridge inspection are scheduled to take place near the main medical campus this weekend.
On Saturday, Oct. 16, the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event is scheduled for Palmer Field and adjoining sidewalks. That includes sidewalks near the Frankel Cardiovascular Center and along Observatory. The event is scheduled to take place from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Additionally, on Sunday, Oct. 17, the city of Ann Arbor will conduct its annual East Medical Center Drive bridge inspection over the Wolverine Line.
Shifting lane closures are expected to be in place from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., but two-way traffic will be maintained.
