Pause for Well-Being Challenge offers rewards and recognition opportunities
Marschall Runge, M.D., Ph.D.’s recent Pause for Well-Being Challenge encourages teams to reduce hourlong meetings to 50 minutes and create their own well-being commitment. Since feeling appreciated for your efforts plays a key role in workplace well-being, recognition opportunities and suggestions are embedded in the challenge.
This recognition sheet shares tips for recognizing and rewarding teams. Challenge participants can also use the online recognition tool. Two eCards were specially designed to recognize individuals for their efforts with this initiative (after you login, select “Recognize” at the top of the home screen and select Michigan Medicine to select and send an eCard).
Leaders are encouraged to share their team’s progress with the challenge on this tracking form. (The form works best in Google Chrome and you may have to use your level 1 password).
Those who make and engage their teams in well-being commitments and share their progress on the tracking form will be eligible for a chance to receive a budget for a team celebration and recognition from Runge.
