You’re invited: 15th annual Prechter Lecture

The Heinz C. Prechter Bipolar Research Program is hosting the 15th Annual Prechter Lecture!

This year’s virtual event will take place from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on Oct. 27. It will feature Norm Ornstein as the keynote speaker. He is a political scientist, contributing author for The Atlantic magazine, frequent commentator on MSNBC and emeritus scholar at the American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research.

Ornstein will talk about “Reforming and Transforming Our Broken System on Serious Mental Illness,” including stories of his family’s journey with bipolar disorder. After his talk, there will be a panel discussion about the present and future of mental health policy, with several panelists, including: Polly Gibson, Amy Kilbourne and Marianne Udow-Phillips.
