Caswell Diabetes Institute supports JDRF One Walk

September 28, 2021  //  FOUND IN: Updates & Resources

Join the Caswell Diabetes Institute (CDI) and Michigan Medicine in supporting the 2021 JDRF One Walk. The CDI team walks to power more research, enable more advocacy and fund more support for the 1.6 million Americans living with type 1 diabetes.

By joining the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund (JDRF) One Walk, you can be part of the lasting footprint we’ll make for the T1D community now and for generations to come.

We welcome you to join the Caswell Diabetes Institute (CDI) team. Register with the team and raise or donate at least $25 to receive a U-M CDI t-shirt. You can also enter to win a new 2021 First Edition Ford Bronco while supporting our team.

JDRF is keeping the safety and well-being of the T1D community top of mind and therefore will not be hosting a formal walk this year. Instead, they are holding a celebratory “Tailgate for T1D” in the Eastern Michigan University Rynearson Stadium parking lot, outdoors and socially distanced. The event will be held on Sunday, Oct. 3 at 10 a.m.

Can’t attend the tailgate on the Oct. 3? You can sign up as a virtual participant and still support this great cause.

Thank you!
