August 20, 2021  //  FOUND IN: Updates & Resources

Please be advised that various lane closures will once again be in effect around Michigan Stadium during home football games in order to enhance security measures and improve pedestrian safety.

These changes will take place on the following Saturdays: Sept. 4, Sept. 11, Sept. 18, Sept. 25, Oct. 23, Nov. 6 and Nov. 27.

Scheduled lane closures include:

  • East Keech Street between South Main Street and Greene Street, limiting access to parking permit holders on Greene Street from East Hoover Avenue and East Keech Street
  • The westbound right-turn lane on East Stadium Boulevard (onto South Main Street) just south of Michigan Stadium
  • South Main Street, to both local and through traffic, between Pauline Boulevard and East Stadium Boulevard
  • Limited access to parking permit holders on Greene Street from East Hoover to Keech streets

The duration of these closures will be three hours before each home football game until the end of each game, with the exception of southbound South Main Street, which will be closed one hour prior to the beginning of each game until the end of each game.
