Julie Ziobro, M.D., earns epilepsy research training fellowship
Julie Ziobro, M.D., has been awarded a PCHD19 Alliance/AES Research Training Fellowship for Clinicians from the American Epilepsy Society with support from the PCDH19 Alliance, for her work entitled Mechanisms of PCDH19 clustering epilepsy.
Ziobro’s award is part of $1.06 million in research grants and fellowships recently given out by AES. She was one of only five to receive the research training fellowship for clinicians.
Ziobro is a clinical lecturer in child neurology at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital. Her research mentor is Jack Parent, M.D.
