Are you concerned about the health of your patients who are inevitably experiencing consequences due to air pollution and our changing climate? Are you seeking ways to improve the education of students in the health care professions so that they will be equipped to meet the challenges of caring for patients experiencing the effects of climate change?

Join the Office of Faculty Development for this workshop as members from Michigan Clinicians for Climate Change (MiCCA), Michigan Medicine and guest experts engage you, through a series of brief presentations, panel discussion, and Q and A, in topics including:

  • The health emergency of climate change
  • Populations vulnerable to the health effects of climate change
  • Communicating with patients and addressing issues about health and climate change
  • Advancing a curriculum on health and climate change for health care professionals
