Summer is here and that means it’s time for outdoor activities and fun!

Do you need to keep your kids busy this summer and wish you had enriching — but exciting — activities for them to do at home? Sign them up for Camp Little Victors!

Camp Little Victors is C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital’s virtual summer camp.

It was originally started as a fun way for children who can’t attend an away-from-home summer camp due to health conditions to still have a camp experience at home.

Now, Camp Little Victors has grown to become a way to engage any patient and their family from across the state of Michigan — and beyond!

For four weeks, beginning July 19, participants receive a weekly email that includes that week’s arts and crafts project, fitness and motor skills activity, fun and delicious recipe, and a science and math experiment. Each activity includes a supplies list and detailed instructions so families can follow along each week at home.

From rainy day activities and kid-friendly recipes to summertime safety tips, each week’s features are designed to help your family make the most of your summer. Plus, there are opportunities to win fun prizes throughout camp (and we heard something about a cute t-shirt for each participant!).

Camp Little Victors is completely virtual, and families can choose to do the activities at their own pace, whenever and wherever they choose.

If you signed up last year, you are automatically signed up for this year’s program and should have received an email with details on this year’s camp.
