It’s time to get a “jump” on the weekend by taking a look back at the last few days at Headlines!

This week, readers learned about a group of anesthesia technicians who took a “leap” of faith and went skydiving to help build camaraderie and teamwork.

When you think of team-building exercises, what comes to mind? Whatever it is, it likely doesn’t involve jumping out of a moving airplane from thousands of feet in the air. In honor of World Music Day on June 21, team members shared their favorite artists and songs, which were then collected together to form the first-ever Michigan Medicine playlists. Rewrite the Script launches Addiction Consult Team (ACT) service

Rewrite the Script is a group of physicians, nurses, therapists and more who are committed to helping the community overcome the opioid epidemic. Recently, the team launched an Addiction Consult Team, which is designed to connect patients with resources that will support recovery and minimize harm. Learn more about this important new service.

Making a Difference: Caring

In recent months, the Making a Difference program has highlighted submissions that pertain to certain organizational core values. This week, that value was caring. Take a look at who earned recognition over the past few weeks for demonstrating the core value of caring.
