Coming Through by Daniel J. Barry

Daniel J. Barry captures scenes in and around Michigan and Ann Arbor.

Downtown streets and rural scenery give him the opportunity to explore something extraordinary in the everyday views he encounters.

As an architect, he is drawn to structures and he likes to find instances of nature interacting with them. Barry employs an exaggerated color palette and vigorous brushwork to energize those aspects of his observations and express new interpretations of familiar subject matter.

In addition to being an architect and painter, Barry is a beekeeper.

Check out his work for yourself at Michigan Medicine!
