Description
The role of a virtual moderator is vital to any online presentation or meeting and ensures a seamless experience for the participants. In this session, you will learn how to manage participants in your sessions while providing a positive interactive experience.
You will learn to:
- Confidently open a session, including reading housekeeping rules and introducing the facilitator(s)
- Utilize engagement strategies
- Determine which Zoom settings are best to use for any event
- Ensure all participants’ accessibility needs are met
- Manage seamless transitions between facilitators, screen sharing or other program aspects
You will benefit by:
- Enhancing your networking and communication skills
- Gaining tools to avoid or handle any virtual issues that can (and do) go wrong
- Obtaining the ability to join the Moderator Engagement Program (MEP), with quarterly meetings to further your skills (both technical and interpersonal)
- Increasing your moderation experience through helpful tools, practice sessions and shadowing colleagues
