Healthcare Administration Scholars Program (HASP) makes call for applications
The Healthcare Administration Scholars Program (HASP) is pleased to announce its call for applications.
This innovative program will provide participants with a longitudinal training (20-month mini-fellowship) experience concentrating in the area of health care administration. This training is open to all U-M house officers (residents and fellows).
The primary goal of HASP is to better prepare graduates to assume and succeed in academic positions with a focus in health care administration at leading academic medical centers. Additionally, the program will allow participants to establish strong mentoring relationships in their chosen area of study, a network for future collaboration and serve as a stepping stone to pursue further graduate study if desired.
Program participants will begin to develop the knowledge base and skill set required for them to be successful as the next generation of physician leaders.
The deadline for application submission is 5 p.m. on Friday, June 11.
Applicants and programs will be notified by Monday, June 21. The application forms, which include a more detailed description of the goals, objectives, and the structure of the program can be found on the HASP website.
Please be advised, the application must include a letter of recommendation from the program director which must include a commitment for adequate release time to participate and departmental support for tuition.
