Erica Marsh, M.D., MSCI, one of two PIs of the Michigan CEAL project, was recently interviewed on the WJR ‘Women Who Lead’ podcast.

Michigan CEAL: Communities Conquering COVID-19 is a member of the National Institutes of Health-funded initiative Community Engagement Alliance (CEAL) Against COVID-19 Disparities. 

It is a transdisciplinary partnership led by Marsh, associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology, director of community engagement for MICHR; and Barbara A. Israel, Dr.PH., M.P.H. Professor, U-M School of Public Health, Department of Health Behavior and Health Education (HBHE), and director, Detroit Urban Research Center.

Beginning at 21:50 on this podcast, Marsh discussed the work that Michigan CEAL and its community partners are doing to fight COVID-19 in Michigan’s underserved communities.
