June 2021 Cooking Two-Class Series

Registration is now open for the June Cooking Class Series. The cost to attend the two-class series is $20. Registration closes at 9 a.m. on June 11.

This month’s classes will focus on summertime cooking and spending more time enjoying fresh fruits and vegetables with less time over a hot stove or washing pots and pans:

June 16 class (noon – 12:30 p.m.): Use Your Noodles

Noodles come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, colors and textures. You probably have some in your pantry and this class will give you some new ideas to make them healthy and delicious!

June 30 class (noon – 12:30 p.m.): Let’s Go Mangos

Mangoes are the most widely consumed fruit in the world. This class will show you how to cut a mango, delicious ways to prepare it, and its many health benefits so you’ll be eager to put this tasty tropical fruit in your cart more often.

New class series each month

MHealthy will host a different cooking class series each month. Registration will open a few weeks before the first class date.

MHealthy cooking classes support the growing field of culinary medicine, which explores the links between food and health, applying the foundations of nutritional science side-by-side with traditional medical interventions in clinical care.
