Michigan Medicine dermatologist receives American Skin Association research award

Renowned dermatologist and researcher Johann E. Gudjonsson, M.D., Ph.D., received a 2021 Research Achievement Award from the American Skin Association for work in psoriasis.
“It’s a big honor to have been recognized for this award,” said Gudjonsson in a video. “Nothing really happens in a vacuum, and I can’t thank my team enough at Michigan for all their support and work over the years. [I also want to thank] my mentors that have really helped bring me up to the level that I am at, and…our patients. Without them, none of this would be possible.”
