If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant or if you just had a baby, Michigan Medicine wants to hear from you!

Why did you decide to get the COVID-19 vaccine? What helped you make your decision? What would you tell other pregnant people who are hesitant to get the vaccine?

Send your story, along with a high-quality photo — either of you getting vaccinated or you with your new bundle of joy — to Aimee Bergquist at aimeesb@umich.edu by Tuesday, June 1. You could be featured in an upcoming edition of Headlines or on Michigan Medicine’s social media channels.

As a reminder, with the information currently available, experts at Michigan Medicine believe the benefit of receiving the COVID-19 vaccine is greater than the risks of getting COVID-19 for women who are pregnant, breastfeeding or trying to conceive. To help make your decision about receiving the vaccine, you are encouraged to speak with your health care provider.
