Headlines asked one final question of the vaccine team members:

How will you feel once we have vaccinated the majority of the population?

Sandro Cinti: “Great, I look forward to the day when I can meet my co-chairs in person.”

Elly Samuels: “I will feel great to know that we have met such a key public health milestone. ”

Fiona Linn: “Delighted, because it will probably also align with the time I can once again visit or be visited by my family in Australia ?.”

Amanda Sedlik: “Happy to see all we have accomplished while also wondering how this will lead into our ‘new normal’. My teams anticipate the next step will be operationalizing this within our current workflows so we can continue to vaccinate after the crisis. Additionally, we will look for ways to improve for the future.”

Benjie Johnson: “It’s already clear that the team feels like they are a part of something very important. Knowing the number of deaths, and infections, and how every person has been touched by this virus, it’s incredibly gratifying that we can be part of the solution.”

Dana Habers: “So proud! This team came together from all walks of life. Together, we built an amazing mass vaccination delivery system. It happened fast. It is patient care of the highest caliber, and was accomplished from a place of sheer passion from every member of the team. I don’t think I’ll ever have another opportunity like this and am so grateful to have been a part of this effort.”
