Submit today: ‘Looking for the Silver Lining: Art in the Time of COVID-19’ virtual photo exhibition

April 16, 2021  //  FOUND IN: Updates & Resources

The “Looking for the Silver Lining: Art in the Time of COVID-19” Smartphone Virtual Photo Exhibition is designed as a way for everyone to come together and share the things that have uplifted us and carried us through these very challenging times.

Even though social distancing and “work from home” orders may mean we are farther apart physically, we can use our smartphone to bring us closer together by sharing happy memories during this pandemic, the moments we wanted to remember, captured on our smartphone. Hopefully this exhibition inspires others to try to find the good in the bad, during the difficult times ahead.

This all-inclusive Michigan Medicine project encourages all faculty, staff, students and building occupants to participate by submitting a photo(s), no prior photography experience required.

Look through your photos taken during the pandemic or take a new photo. There are no specific guidelines or parameters for the subject matter or photographic style of your photographs. However, the theme must fit the title of the exhibition “Looking for the Silver Lining.”

The photographs will be displayed as a digital exhibition on the NCRC galleries website after the submission period has ended.
