Save the date: Nursing at Michigan’s Virtual Poster Day coming May 3-4
Nursing at Michigan Poster Day provides an opportunity for all nurses at Michigan Medicine to showcase research, clinical innovations and evidence-based practice work. It’s a celebration of work accomplished across the nursing community and an opportunity for networking with colleagues.
Due to COVID-19, this year’s event will be 100% virtual!
On May 3 and May 4, more than 35 posters will be available for viewing on demand. On those two dates, people can vote for their favorite poster. Voting will end at 11 a.m. on May 4.
There will also be live webinars on select topics (no registration required) and virtual “tables.”
On top of that, Poster Day will present top poster awards for:
- Evidence-Based Practice
- Clinical Innovation/Process Improvement
- First Time Presenter
- University of Michigan School of Nursing (faculty or student)
- People’s Choice
Here is a schedule of events:
- COVID-19 webinar: Noon – 1 p.m., May 3
- Family engagement webinar: 4 p.m. – 5 p.m., May 3
- Pain management webinar: 7 a.m. – 8 a.m., May 4
- Live awards ceremony via Zoom: 1:30 p.m., May 4
Poster Day is sponsored by the Nursing Research & Translation Committee; Nursing Administration; Sigma Rho Chapter; Nursing Recruitment and Retention; and the U-M School of Nursing.
0.5 nursing contact hours will be provided for viewing posters.
