Vote to help two Michigan Medicine teams compete in second round of STAT Madness
The annual STAT Madness tournament is in full swing and Michigan Medicine still has teams from the Frankel Cardiovascular Center and the Rogel Cancer Center competing in the annual tournament.
The competition features bioscience discoveries from schools and colleges across the country.
This year, U-M originally fielded five research teams whose members hail from Michigan Medicine, the U-M College of Engineering and the School of Public Health.
Not only are bragging rights on the line, but the tournament is a chance to help the public learn about exciting, important scientific advances — many of them funded with federal tax dollars.
Michigan Medicine fans can cheer their teams to victory by casting votes daily on the tournament website and by encouraging others to do so on social media.
