March Madness is here: Name the MVPs and superstars in your area!
March Madness has arrived, with the U-M men’s and women’s basketball teams tipping off their respective NCAA tournaments this weekend.
And if either team hopes to make deep tournament runs, it will take teamwork, skill and, yes, a few moments where superstars and MVPs step up and lead the way.
In much the same way, every area and department at Michigan Medicine has a superstar or MVP who shines bright at the most opportune times — and Headlines wants to know who it is where you work!
It could be the colleague who consistently offers to team up on a project and helps push it toward the finish line. Or maybe it’s the clinician who goes above and beyond in their service to patients and families.
Perhaps it’s a team member who recently won an award, like nurse Nicole Zabel from 7W, who was given a DAISY Award for her work with the bone marrow transplant team.
No matter who it is, nominating your superstars and MVPs has never been easier!
All you have to do is log in to the new Michigan Medicine Recognition website and select “Recognize” in the top right corner. Then choose your colleague(s), select “MVP Award” and describe why they earned the distinction. Voila — your work is done!
Keep in mind, both individual and team nominations are accepted.
Stay tuned to Headlines as some of the nominations will be shared in a future edition of the employee newsletter.
Thank you for all you do at Michigan Medicine — and Go Blue!
