The unprecedented events in the U.S. Capitol heightened fears among community members.
Please note, the Division of Public Safety and Security has implemented a number of preparedness efforts for the upcoming Presidential Inauguration period.
Most importantly, if anyone has a specific safety concern, they are encouraged to contact DPSS anytime 24/7 at 734-763-1131 or by calling 911 for assistance.
It is recommended that you save that number as a favorite in your contact list by downloading the DPSS contact card onto your phone. Additional ways to contact DPSS also can be found on its website.
DPSS has also created a webpage with FAQs related to Inauguration Day.
Thank you for your partnership and support of public safety at U-M.
