The well-being check-in guide we all could use

The Michigan Medicine Wellness Office, Office of Counseling and Workplace Resilience (OCWR), and Department of Psychiatry, in their commitment to support the emotional well-being of faculty, staff and learners during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond, have provided a brief guide for local teams and leaders to facilitate well-being discussions when and where they can. This guide can be used to kick-off meetings such as safety huddles, team huddles or staff meetings.

During this holiday season, it’s important that we all remember to take care of ourselves and each other. The Wellness Office has revamped its website to improve the user experience and help all faculty, staff, learners, and members of the larger community to connect with the well-being resources they need.

The newly designed Well-Being Help Center provides an updated list of categorized counseling and consultation services, in addition to resources for family care needs and emotional health/well-being during these increasingly difficult times.
