Perioperative teams collecting toys for pediatric patients

Raven Click, R.N., B.S., CCLS and her team in the University Hospital operating room heard that the Michigan Medicine Child Life team was a little low on the toy donations this season. So they decided to start a competition between the three main ORs at Michigan Medicine: University Hospital, C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and the Frankel Cardiovascular Center.

These perioperative teams have collected more than 500 toys for the pediatric patients at Mott! There are less than two weeks left of the competition and the goal is to collaboratively raise 1,000 toys for Child Life. If you can, please consider donating by leaving an item in the donation box in the OR staff lounge by Dec. 31.
