Free webinar on new national asthma guidelines

The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, a part of the National Institutes of Health, is releasing updates to the national guidelines for the diagnosis, management, and treatment of asthma.

Alan Baptist, M.D., M.P.H., director of the Comprehensive Asthma Management Program at Michigan Medicine, is a member of the NIH working group who helped author the guidelines.

Anyone who is interested is invited to join a free webinar on Dec. 3, from 11 a.m. to noon to learn about the 2020 Focused Updates to the Asthma Management Guidelines that will be published in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology and posted to the NHLBI website.

The report, coordinated and supported by the NHLBI’s National Asthma Education Prevention Program, is designed to improve patient care and support informed decision making about asthma management in the clinical setting in six priority areas of asthma care. Register here:
