Thank you to the Michigan Medicine Supply Chain Services team!
It’s National Health Care Supply Chain Week, which provides the perfect opportunity to say thank you to the dedicated members of Supply Chain!
Whether working in Warehouse Operations, Contracts and Procurement, Value Analysis, Transactional Purchasing, Procedural Areas or Par Management and Linen teams, supply chain staff has been on the front lines during COVID-19, ensuring the organization has enough supplies and personal protective equipment to keep patients and colleagues as safe as possible.
The team also played a leading role in running the medical supply drive earlier this year at the North Campus Research Complex.
“Our Supply Chain Services team is amazing. Their commitment, dedication and creative thinking has been so important to patient and workplace safety during this pandemic,” said Tony Denton, senior vice president and chief operating officer for the U-M Health System. “They have not wavered during the most unusual of circumstances, a tribute to their professionalism and service excellence mindset. I’m so grateful and proud of the team and everyone else who has stepped up in incredible ways since the pandemic reached us in March of this year.”
Be sure to thank the members of Supply Chain this week!
