Description

The late Civil Rights icon, U.S. Congressman John Lewis made an indelible impression last fall when he spoke — his co-author with Andrew Aydin and illustrator Nate Powell — at their Penny Stamps presentation before a packed Memorial Auditorium audience. March, their graphic novel trilogy, is a gripping, beautifully written and illustrated chronicle of one man’s journey from an Alabama sharecropper’s farm to the halls of Congress. It’s also a remarkable eyewitness account of the struggles and successes of civil rights movement. In other words, it’s a must-read. All are welcome to join this informal discussion, but please register here to receive the Zoom info prior to this event.
