Organizational Learning offers workshops to help you lead teams through virtual, uncertain times

Organizational Learning is offering two upcoming free workshops that will help faculty and staff lead teams through the uncertainty caused by COVID-19.

The workshops include:

Early Career Leaders Community of Practice: Strategies for Engaging Your Team in a Virtual Space: 9 a.m. – 10 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 15.

  • Keeping employees engaged is a necessary part of leading a team. In the absence of face-to-face interactions, leaders of virtual teams must leverage new strategies to encourage broad participation, sharing of ideas and effective collaboration. Liberating Structures activities are simple, subtle and powerful tools designed to promote interactions that are inclusive, focused and productive. In this session, participants will experience two of the most widely used Liberating Structures tools which require no special equipment and can be used virtually in your next team meeting. 

Supporting Yourself and Your Team Through Organizational Uncertainty: 2 p.m. – 3 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 15.

  • How do teams navigate with fewer resources, different reporting structures and changes in service delivery models? Join us for the first webinar in the Leading Cultural Transformation educational series, designed to help you learn about the difference between change and transition, and ways to support those who are impacted by the changes.
