Alert: Crosswalk and sidewalk closures near the main medical campus

Please be advised that the crosswalk between the Molecular & Behavioral Neuroscience Institute (MBNI) and the Medical Science 2 (Med Sci 2)/Taubman Health Sciences Library (THSL)/Buhl Building entrances are scheduled to be closed briefly for construction work on this afternoon, Sept. 24, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
During this closure, pedestrians will need to cross the street at Glen Avenue. Detour signage will be in place.
Additionally, the City of Ann Arbor is expecting to close both sides of the sidewalk in areas along Maiden Lane, Glen Avenue and East Ann Street over the next few weeks to remove and replace concrete:
- Maiden Lane from Island Drive to Plymouth Road
- Glen Avenue from Catherine Street to East Huron Street
- East Ann Street from North Ingalls to Zina Pitcher Place.
The work could start as early as today, Sept. 24, and is scheduled to be finished by Thursday, Oct. 8.
