You’re invited: Virtual Taubman Technology Talk
All Michigan Medicine faculty and staff are invited to the next Taubman Technology Talk on Thursday, Aug. 20. The discussion, which will take place via Zoom at noon, is entitled “Beyond Just Pictures: Multi-scale, Quantitative Imaging.”
Gary Luker, M.D., will present several different technologies to meet demands of imaging studies and computational approaches to extract quantitative imaging data from imaging studies.
Luker is a professor of radiology, biomedical engineering, and microbiology and immunology. He also serves as associate chair for clinical research in the Department of Radiology and editor-in-chief of the RSNA journal, Radiology: Imaging Cancer. He has been a faculty member at U-M since 2004.
As a member of the U-M Center for Molecular Imaging, research in the Luker lab focuses on developing and applying quantitative imaging methods to investigate cancer biology and effects of cancer therapy from single cells to clinical studies.
