Silver Club has reopened its in-person programs after five months of virtual programs! With safety and health measures in place, Silver Club is providing engaging and creative activities for individuals with mild to moderate dementia.

Although in some ways the programs look different (mask wearing, social distancing, etc.), the spirit of fun and friendship remains.

As one family shared about the reopening: “A big, heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in getting Silver Club safely open again! From the minute I walked into the building I could see some of the preparation. But I was even more impressed when I saw how the group room was organized! Clearly the result of much thoughtful planning, organizing and caring. Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you!”

Silver Club is a Michigan Medicine program which provides critical support services and enrichment for those with memory loss, including socialization for members and respite for their caregivers.

At this time, the program is accepting new members.
