Participate in Family Care Needs and Work Adjustments Planning Tool through Aug. 14
Michigan Medicine has heard from individuals across the organization that it has become increasingly difficult to manage the demands of family care alongside professional obligations. To gain a better understanding of how we can support your needs during these unprecedented times, you are invited to participate in the “Family Care Needs and Work Adjustments Planning Tool.”
The purpose of this tool is to identify and evaluate key issues and barriers impacting accessibility and availability of family care resources for faculty, staff and learners, and to anticipate potential impacts to mission-critical operations.
The Family Care Task Force will use this data to inform Michigan Medicine leadership about the family care challenges facing our community and to help develop action items to address these challenges. For bargained-for employees, some of these matters will be subject to negotiation with the designated collective bargaining representative.
This tool is open now through Friday, Aug. 14.
Even if you do not have family care needs at this time, we still encourage you to respond accordingly by completing this request. Individual responses and identifying data will not be shared.
The organization appreciates your input as it seeks to understand how to best support a diverse workforce during these trying times.
