In his latest blog post on “A Minute with Marschall,” Marschall Runge, M.D., Ph.D., writes about how COVID-19 has influenced all areas of the organization.

“Our thoughtful urgent response to a crisis actually became additional building blocks that will help strengthen the foundation of our organization and also illuminate the challenges in implementing change at breakneck speed,” said Runge, who is executive vice president for medical affairs, dean of the U-M Medical School and CEO of Michigan Medicine.

He goes on to lay out a few examples of the COVID-19 response and how it is influencing the organization’s future: from working from home measures to daily leadership meetings and beyond.
