Aramark and Michigan Medicine have introduced a number of contactless check-out options at retail food locations across the organization.

New systems are now in place at UH Café, the cafeteria in C&W, the Taubman Center coffee stand, Einstein Bagels, Subway and the retail food location within the East Ann Arbor Health Center.

The systems are set up to allow customers to use Apple Pay, Google Wallet and other mobile pay options, which are easier, safer options during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The features are also designed to help lines move faster and stay shorter, also important in a time of social distancing.

Additionally, the UH Café has installed some self-scanning lanes, similar to those you would find at a grocery store. That will make it even easier to limit face-to-face contact and keep people as safe as possible.
