No art fair? No problem! Participate in Headlines’ very first virtual art fair

Michigan Medicine employees are incredibly talented in the work they do — whether it’s advancing the organization’s missions of patient care, education or research. But so many of you are also talented away from work.

So what are your creative outlets? Do you paint, draw or practice photography? Maybe you do woodworking in your garage or shed. Or maybe you play an instrument, sing or write poems or short stories.

With this year’s Ann Arbor Art Fair canceled due to COVID-19, Headlines decided to step in and fill the void. Email photos of your existing artwork, recordings of your music, poems or short stories to headlines@med.umich.edu and you could be featured in an upcoming edition of Headlines! Artwork created by children will be accepted as well.

Think of it as the Michigan Medicine Virtual Art Fair — an online gallery of the impressive work you and your colleagues create!

Entries should be emailed by Friday, July 17. Thanks for all you do!
