Video: Dietetic Internship Program provides COVID-19 health tips
The Dietetic Internship Program is part of the Program for Multicultural Health (PMCH) Community Service-Learning internships that occur annually each summer.
The internships allow students to utilize theory learned in the classroom and apply it to the real world. Students gain practical knowledge and skills to develop, implement and evaluate community-based, culturally-responsive nutrition education for diverse populations at schools, housing communities, summer camps and faith-based organizations.
PMCH has partnered with the U-M School of Public Health Department of Nutritional Sciences for eight years.
The program has created an informational video to help educate the community on different ways to boost one’s immune system to protect from COVID-19. Check it out at the top of the page!
The Dietetic Internship Program is an initiative of PMCH, a program of Community Health Services at Michigan Medicine.
