Plan ahead and expect delays: East Ann Street road closure

Please be advised that a utility project along East Ann Street is expected to caused traffic disruptions around the academic medical center next week.

Plan ahead and expect delays and alert patients if they will be traveling in the area.

Here’s what you need to know:

• Expected to begin on Monday, June 29, and last through Tuesday, June 30, the westbound lanes of East Ann Street, adjacent to the Samuel and Jean Frankel Cardiovascular Center, will be closed for ongoing utility work.
• Access to the CVC will be maintained via the roundabout from northbound Observatory Street and eastbound East Ann Street. 
• Northbound Observatory Street through traffic will be detoured east on East Medical Center Drive and south on Glen Avenue to East Ann Street.
• The adjacent sidewalk will be closed and pedestrian detours posted in the field.
