Plan ahead and expect delays: Broadway Street/Plymouth Road construction project

Please be advised that road work on Broadway Street at Plymouth Road in Ann Arbor is scheduled to begin tomorrow, June 24.

Plan ahead and expect delays and alert patients if they will be traveling in the area.

Here’s what you need to know:

Beginning at 7 a.m. Wednesdaay, June 24, the southwest end of Broadway Street is expected to be closed to through traffic at the Plymouth Road intersection for road reconstruction.

Southwest-bound Broadway Street vehicle traffic will be detoured northeast on Broadway Street to the? northeast end of Broadway Street at Plymouth Road, then southwest on Plymouth Road. Local businesses will have access maintained with limited interruption. 

Pedestrian traffic will be maintained along Plymouth Road, accessed from the Plymouth Park path at Broadway Street, then southwest on the asphalt path on the southeast side of Plymouth Road to the newly-constructed sidewalk on Plymouth Road between Broadway Street and Maiden Lane. 

The project is scheduled to be completed by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1.
