As Michigan Medicine looks forward, communities will continue to look to the organization for answers as health care services that were deferred due to the pandemic begin to resume.

And that presents an opportunity, according to Marschall S. Runge, M.D., Ph.D., executive vice president for medical affairs, CEO of Michigan Medicine and dean of the U-M Medical School.

As Runge said, this is a chance for “steady, thoughtful steps forward to lead our communities out of this crisis and back to the business of advancing health for Michigan and the world.”

To do just that, the organization will need to lean heavily on its four core values: caring, integrity, teamwork and innovation.

Learn more about the values, and why they’re so important, in Runge’s latest post on a “Minute with Marschall.”
