As Michigan looks to remain on the downside of the COVID-19 curve, your summer plans may be in flux. Trips to distant destinations or amusement park visits may not be on the docket this year, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have some fun!

Headlines wants to know your summer plans. What are you planning for yourself or your family that will provide a much-needed break or offer self-care? And how will you pull that off safely?

It could mean that you set aside daily reading time in your backyard. Or set up a tent and go “camping” out front. Maybe you’ll fire up the grill and have a socially-distanced barbecue with a few family members.

Whatever it is, email your staycation plans by Thursday, July 2 to and you could be featured in a special edition of Headlines!

Thank you for playing your part in limiting the spread of the coronavirus – and for being a role model to others in the community.

Happy summer!
