“Mindful eating” and “intuitive eating” are eating approaches that have been gaining popularity in adults recently. But these approaches can also be used with children.

Mindful eating is an approach to eating in which you bring awareness to your body’s hunger and fullness cues and you utilize all five senses to greater appreciate food. Mindful eating can also help your child develop a healthier relationship with food.
