Congratulations to Michigan Medicine, which once again earned an ‘A’ from the Leapfrog Group for hospital safety!

The organization has earned the highest grade possible every time it has been graded since 2012.

The remarkable achievement is a reflection of Michigan Medicine’s commitment to patient safety and preventing medical errors – a commitment that has been emphasized during the recent COVID-19 pandemic and journey to high reliability.

Every six months, the nonprofit Leapfrog Group uses up to 28 measures of publicly available hospital safety data to assign grades to more than 2,600 U.S. acute-care hospitals.

Thank you for all you do to ensure Michigan Medicine is among the nation’s safest hospitals. It’s only possible thanks to your commitment and dedication!
