DAILY PATIENT STATS
Today’s census for COVID-19 inpatients and those patients under investigation (PUI) are noted below:

Discharges: 289 total COVID-19 discharges to date, 20 in the last 24 hours. These numbers include patients discharged to skilled nursing facilities but excludes deaths and discharges to hospice.
DAILY TEAM MEMBER TESTING STATS*

* Data from 3/10 through 4/17. Updated numbers for 4/18 will be provided on 4/19. The testing stats reflect just Michigan Medicine employees, not all University of Michigan employees. It also reflects only those who sought testing at or were hospitalized at Michigan Medicine or reported their testing to Occupational Health Services. Some Michigan Medicine employees may have been tested outside our system.
VIRTUAL TOWN HALL VIDEO
Michigan Medicine leaders hosted a Virtual Town Hall on Friday. If you missed it, you can view the meeting by clicking here. For the latest updates related to COVID-19, visit the Headlines COVID-19 page.
PAUSE ON MUSIC OVER PA
Due to technical and disruption issues, the Hail to the Victors music that was to be played over the hospital PA system at COVID-19 patient discharge will be paused. Further assessments will determine if playing music over the hospital PA system is feasible in the future.
PARKING STRUCTURE REMINDER
With the exception of P1, P2/P3, P4 & P5 structures, parking permit enforcement will now be suspended for all Medical Center Campus lots and structures. On North, Central and South campuses, enforcement is currently suspended.
Individual parking spaces signed for 24/7 enforcement (such as Accessible, Gold, Service or Business Vehicle) or areas signed for 24/7 enforcement will still remain enforced on all campuses.
Please note that the Yellow AVI and Blue off-shift parking programs will not have 24/7 access to P-structures on weekdays. Regular weekday restrictions for these programs still apply. Please adhere to this to maintain a sufficient supply of patient/visitor parking.
Patient/Visitor parking on Medical Center Campus, including the Wall Street area, will remain enforced.
Updates to parking and transportation related to COVID-19 can be found here.
