Redeploy unopened sanitizer, disinfectant wipes to clinical areas

March 26, 2020  //  FOUND IN: Updates & Resources

Administrative and non-clinical areas of Michigan Medicine with unopened hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes (as well as other safety items listed below) are asked to donate them to clinical areas to avoid a shortage of these critical supplies.

If you are an administrative or non-clinical department, please consider redeploying any unopened containers of the following items:

  • Hand sanitizer
  • Disinfectant wipes: bleach or antimicrobial
  • Disposable face masks
  • N95 masks, sometimes called respirators
  • Eye protection (including face shields and safety goggles)
  • Disposable gowns
  • Disposable gloves (especially non-latex)
  • Disposable surgical caps
  • Disposable foot covers

Supply donations will be accepted at the drive-through donation site located at the North Campus Research Complex (NCRC) between noon and 5:00 p.m. each weekday.

Thank you for helping Michigan Medicine keep patients, families, and employees safe during this time.
