Mask Guidance and FAQs

As of today, all employees working in a patient care facility are required to wear masks during their working hours. Masks are being distributed by Security at facility access points. For guidance and appropriate use of masks, review these FAQs.

PPE Training

In response to needs expressed in the recent COVID-19 Educational Needs Survey and discussion with key stakeholders, we are offering drop-in PPE sessions this week.  Please click here for the flyer and details on dates and locations listed below. Our goal is to build a solid pool of super-users through this effort.

Drop-in sessions will be held in MCHC on the following dates and times. Content will be presented every 20 – 30 minutes and unit toolkits will be available.

  • March 24, 7-10 a.m. and 2-5 p.m.
  • March 25, 8:30-10 a.m. and 3-6 p.m.
  • March 27, 6- 8:30 a.m. and 2-5 p.m.

Limited Menu for PFANs

Due to lower volumes and limited deliveries from foodservice vendors, PFANs will be moving to a limited menu for adult and pediatric patient meal orders, effective March 30, 2020.

Retail locations and cafes across the medical campus will also be limiting hours due to decreased staffing, also effective March 30.

More information will be forthcoming with specific details and hours.
