The Healthcare Administration Scholars Program (HASP) is pleased to announce its call for applications.

This innovative program will provide participants with a longitudinal training (20-month mini-fellowship) experience concentrating in the area of health care administration. This training is open to all U-M house officers (residents and fellows).

The primary goal of HASP is to better prepare graduates to assume and succeed in academic positions with a focus in health care administration at leading academic medical centers.  Additionally, the program will allow participants to establish strong mentoring relationships in their chosen area of study, a network for future collaboration and serve as a stepping stone to pursue further graduate study, if desired.

Program participants will begin to develop the knowledge base and skill set required for them to be successful as the next generation of physician leaders.

A descriptive overview of the programs within the attached application form located in the link below.

The deadline for application submission is 5 p.m. on Monday, June 5. Applicants and programs will be notified by June 15.

The application forms, which include a more detailed description of the goals and objectives and the structure and schedule, can be found by clicking here.
