February 6, 2020  //  FOUND IN: Updates & Resources

All Michigan Medicine faculty and staff are invited the first annual symposium hosted by the Skin Biology and Diseases Resource-Based Center.

The event will feature Michael D. Rosenblum, M.D., Ph.D., who will provide the keynote address entitled “Immune Regulation in Skin.”

Rosenblum is an associate professor of dermatology at the University of California San Francisco and one of the world’s leading skin immunologists. The central focus of his research is to understand how immune responses are regulated in tissues and how this knowledge can be applied for therapeutic benefit.

The UM-SBDRC annual symposium provides the chance to learn about the latest in skin biology and disease research; to see what core services are provided by the UM-SBDRC; and to interact with center members. Attendees are encouraged to share their skin-relevant research in poster format.

This free event is sponsored by the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases, U-M Medical School and Department of Dermatology.
