You’re invited: Clinical Simulation Center Brown Bag series
All Michigan Medicine faculty and staff are invited to attend the next installment of the Clinical Simulation Center Brown Bag series.
The series is designed to promote collaboration and best practices in simulation-based education and research and will allow faculty, staff and learners the opportunity to learn and share best practices in simulation-based education and assessment.
The next event, which will be held at noon on Friday, Feb. 21 in the CSC (Med Sci II, Room 2727, classroom B), will discuss current projects in the 3D and Innovation Lab.
Attendees can meet the faculty and BME students who are solving simulation problems at Michigan Medicine.
Projects that will be discussed include:
- Development of a compact simulation mannequin for training emergency medicine providers in extracorporeal cardiopulmonary
- Parallel development of physical and virtual simulators for image-guided biopsy
- Evaluation of two performance assessment modalities for a novel pediatric cleft lip repair simulator
- A comparison of design strategies of a novel shoulder reduction task trainer
