Marschall Runge, M.D., Ph.D., discusses connection between high reliability, employee engagement

In his latest “Minute with Marschall,” Marschall Runge, M.D., Ph.D., executive vice president for medical affairs, dean of the U-M Medical School and CEO of Michigan Medicine, connects the dots between High Reliability Universal Skills training and employee engagement.

For instance, as Runge said: “Creating more opportunities for dialogue and problem solving, through huddles, rounding and clarifying questions, improve feedback and engagement.”

That was just one example he provided about the connection between the two ongoing initiatives.
