Linda Larin, M.B.A., FACHE, named interim chief operating officer for Adult Hospitals

Linda Larin, M.B.A., FACHE, will assume the interim role of chief operating officer for the Adult Hospitals (University Hospital and the Frankel Cardiovascular Center), effective Feb. 1.  In this role, she will work closely with the Adult Hospitals chief nursing officer and chief clinical officer to optimize and enhance the operations of the adult hospitals.

Larin has served as the associate hospital director for cardiovascular and neurosciences programs at Michigan Medicine since 2014. Prior to this role, she served as the chief administrative officer at the Frankel Cardiovascular Center from 2000 to 2017.

Larin is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and in 2015, she was named the Healthcare Executive of the Year by the American Academy of Medical Administrators (AAMA). She has been at Michigan Medicine 36 years and has held administrative positions within basic science research, hospital finance, department clinical operations and hospital operations. She was instrumental in the visioning, creation, and launch of the CVC building and its programs and the development of many specialized clinical programs that exist today.
